Absolutely loved our little getaway!! Exactly what we needed! Polly was so helpful. Truly made our stay that extra special. We were greeted on arrival and had little care package, which was amazing (husband absolutely loved the coffee!!) The extra finishing touches within the property were cute, felt so homely. The location was fantastic for us, so quiet and peaceful with lots of wildlife, and in the evening sitting on the decking area looking at the stars was a great bonus. Our hosts Polly & Marc were the most helpful & friendly people you could ask for we can't thank them enough.

The Goat House was the best find. I stumbled across it and the pictures looked welcoming and individual. It is located within Cardinham Woods down traditional cornish roads, easy to find, remote yet well connected to all of Cornwall. We used it as a base for 5 days to explore both the north and south coasts in order to get our fix for coastal walks and sea breeze. It is located within 30 minute drive off each coast and just off the A30 (Cornwall’s spine). The Goat House itself was spotlessly clean, brilliantly equipped, comfortable and had amazing little touches. A supermarket located with 20 minute drive in Bodmin that had everything you needed. Very good if you want a quiet time away and walks around the wood or to explore Cornwall (like we did on this occasion). The hosts were lovely, friendly and very attentive. Had a few good chats with Polly over the 5 days who was very helpful with tips of places to go and what to see. Will look at visiting again. We had a fantastic stay. This is definitely a gem in the middle of Cornwall.

This is a lovely place to escape to in the middle of beautiful woodland. It’s perfectly situated to travel anywhere in Cornwall. The cottage is beautifully decorated and clean, Polly was very welcoming and gave some great tips on places to visit. We did something everyday but you could easily spend the day relaxing at the cottage and walking around nearby. The WiFi is also brilliant - what more could you want?!
